Warranty & Returns Policy

This limited warranty applies to residents of the United States only. By using the product, you agree to be bound by all the terms of this limited warranty. Before using the product(s), please read this limited warranty carefully. If you do not agree to the terms of this limited warranty, do not use the product(s). Return the product(s) to the dealer of purchase within 30 days. See the dealer’s return policy for details.

WARRANTY PERIOD AND COVERAGE

Products are warranted for one (1) year against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, commencing from the date of purchase, under the following conditions:

1. The warranty claim is made by the original purchaser of the Product with valid proof of purchase from an authorized luca + lex dealer;
2. The Product has not been subjected to accident, misuse, abuse, modification, or repair by unauthorized service providers;
3. Claims are made within the applicable Warranty Period; and
4. The Product has been used in accordance with provided care and maintenance instructions.

Authorized Dealers include luca + lex authorized retail partners, and verified sellers on established marketplaces. Products purchased from auction sites (such as eBay), unauthorized resellers, or sellers offering altered or counterfeit products are not covered.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This limited warranty does not cover and luca + lex is not responsible for:

• Normal wear and tear from regular use
• Cosmetic damages such as minor scratches, scuffs, or fading that do not affect functionality
• Damage caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, negligence, extreme weather, or acts of nature
• Damage resulting from failure to follow care and maintenance instructions
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Products purchased “as-is,” “used,” or “final sale”

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

To make a warranty claim:

1. Contact luca + lex customer service at 978-296-5578 or [email protected]
2. Provide proof of purchase and description of the issue
3. Follow instructions for inspection, repair, or replacement
4. Claims must be made within the warranty period

We will respond to warranty claims within 5 business days and provide resolution within 30 days when possible.

REMEDIES

If a valid warranty claim is made, luca + lex will, at its discretion:

• Repair the product at no charge
• Replace the product with an identical or comparable item
• Refund the purchase price

RETURNS POLICY

Standard Returns (Non-Defective Items)

• Returns accepted within 30 days of purchase
• Items must be in resaleable condition with original packaging
• Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
• 20% restocking fee may apply to non-defective returns

Defective Product Returns

• Returns accepted within 60 days of purchase for defective items
• No restocking fee for confirmed defective products
• luca + lex will cover return shipping costs for defective items
• Items will be inspected to confirm defect prior to refund

Custom Orders

Custom or specially ordered items cannot be returned unless defective.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTIES AND DAMAGES

Express Warranties: The warranties stated above are the only express warranties provided by luca + lex.

Implied Warranties: To the extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this warranty period.

Limitation of Damages: luca + lex’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund as stated above. luca + lex will not be responsible for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, lost profits, or commercial losses, except where prohibited by law.

LEGAL RIGHTS

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

State-Specific Notes:

• Residents of New Jersey and other states with stronger consumer protection laws may have additional rights beyond this warranty
• This warranty applies to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law in your state

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Class Action Waiver: You and luca + lex agree that any disputes will be resolved individually and not as part of a class action lawsuit. This waiver does not apply where prohibited by law.

Arbitration: Any disputes that cannot be resolved through customer service may be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by state law.
